How big is a BIG WAVE??
Bonnie on the Rich Roll podcast.
Bonnie speaks frequently about the big ideas around health and longevity, with an emphasis on strength—of body and mind. She has given talks about how your muscles are smarter than you think—above, she speaks at the opening session of Aspen Ideas Health, alongside such luminaries as Atul Gawande and Uché Blackstock—and about how joyful movement is essential to well-being, for all of us. Recent audiences have included Harvard University, Kaiser Permanente, and Commonwealth Financial. Bonnie knows that muscles are especially important for women as they age; she also knows what muscles can allow us to do, outside of the body, and how essential they are to mental health, cognitive health, cardiovascular health, and immune health. Her passion for swimming, water, the ocean, and power of sports have also brought her to audiences at Stanford University, Patagonia, Nike, Adidas, and many educational settings including schools and libraries.
Bonnie is also a dynamic, fun, and interactive speaker about the art of storytelling and the craft of reporting and writing; she has appeared at the Rancho Mirage Writers Festival and the Hong Kong International Literary Festival and presented storytelling workshops at Stanford, Adidas, and to other private clients and companies. And her expertise with Chinatowns and Chinese America has made her a perennial in-demand voice on issues relevant to the AAPI community, including identity and immigration; she has spoken at NYU, CUNY, Duke University, the Mechanics’ Institute, the Museum of Chinese in America, and more.
