T+L 500: The World's Best Hotels, Resorts, Lodges, Inns, Safari Camps
With so many great hotels out there, it's not always an easy decision. That's why we created the annual T+L 500. Using reader evaluations collected in our most recent World's Best Awards survey, we identified the 500 highest-rated properties—those that have a demonstrated track record of excellence. Then we called upon T+L insiders around the globe to find out exactly what it is that makes each one special. (Edited by Amy Farley, Hillary Geronemus, Nathan Lump, and Heidi Sherman Mitchell, with reporting by Aaron Barker, Aaron Clark, Joshua Greene, Jaime Gross, David Kaufman, Liz Krieger, Monica Larner, Connie MCCabe, Rob MCKeown, Mario R. Mercado, Kevin Raub, Bonnie Tsui (Hawaii coverage), Susan Welsh, and Ashley Williams.)

New Article: Henry Jones Art Hotel
The New York Times, January 9, 2005
Check In: The Henry Jones Art Hotel
Housed in a 140-year-old jam factory tucked among Hobart's waterfront warehouses at 25 Hunter Street, the Henry Jones Art Hotel lives up to its name. More than 250 pieces - mostly works from artists at the nearby Tasmanian School of Art - fill the guest rooms, halls and three-story glass-and-timber atrium. But the hotel, which opened in June, is far from being a glorified gallery space.
